What is it about bright coral and electric cobalt that goes together like banana and peanut butter? Now that I’m four months into my pregnancy, I have invested in a couple pairs of maternity jeans and this budget friendly New Look pair is well fitting and looks way more expensive than their $30 price tag. Maternity sweaters are expensive, and not always necessary. I’ve been able to find beautiful generously cut sweaters on sale, like this Diane Von Furstenberg cashmere turtleneck I scooped up for less than $150 at Saks’s clearance sale (don’t miss it!). I love this sweater so much, it’s so perfectly soft and warm with the extra large turtleneck and elongated back hem. I’ll be keeping an eye on the grey color and snatching that one up too if the price is right. I also scooped up a brand new thick cashmere charcoal grey men’s sweater in a medium for a boyfriend fit (retailers like Zara charge tons for cashmere in boyfriend cuts!) at a thrift store for $10. I prefer most of my sweaters oversized and I don’t want to buy any sweaters I won’t wear next year, especially for mega bucks. I will definitely be wearing this chic tote next season, and next year. It’s now on sale, such a great deal for a roomy tote big enough to hold all your work and gym and errand essentials without the typical tote bag schlump factor.
Are you into cobalt and coral?
