I wore this Gypsy 05 silk maxi dress to my gorgeous cousin’s wedding this past weekend in Delafield, Wisconsin. She was the world’s chicest bride in a classic white shift, white pumps, and crystal cluster earrings. She was a Mexican Carolyn Bessette. Instead of buying a new dress to wear to her rustic-chic fete, I merchandised my maxi up with sparkly accessories like these J.Crew statement earrings. I made a last minute shoe switch for these Loeffler Randall’s when I caught wind that it was an outdoor standing ceremony. I learned the hard way that grass and heels don’t always mix, and with rain threats all day, I didn’t want to take the gamble. Anyway, this dress is one that can be worn to any wedding or dressed down with flat sandals and a top knot for a casual summer look, and now it’s on sale! You’re welcome.
