Back when my social life included things like bachelorette parties at Vegas day clubs, I needed a lipstick that could survive a day in the desert sun while sipping champs and day partying in a bikini in 98 degree sun. While I can’t recall how I stumbled upon the gem that is Chanel Le Rouge Duo lipsticks (perhaps it was the champs), I do remember that it was love at first doe foot swipe.

These transfer resistant, long lasting, non-drying liquid miracles even proved themselves during the pandemic: no other lip product can stand up to mask wearing like a Le Duo. Simply apply the color, give it a minute to dry, then hydrate with the glossy end of the tube. The sleek packaging allowing these to slide into a WOC is the chic cherry on top! As my Vegas years fade into a mere memory, I’m happy to report that these lipsticks don’t feather into lip lines on those of who may or may not have passed bachelorette-party-age. My only complaint is that Chanel needs to release some new shades because I think I own almost all of them!
