How was I to know (despite my mother’s repeated warnings) that if I kept plucking my brows into pencil thin arches, they’d someday stay that way? My journey led me down a path to discover the best brow gel for blondes. Oh, and it’s budget friendly and on sale at Amazon.

Enter the NYX Thick it Stick it Thickening Eyebrow Gel to solve all my pop princess induced brow woes. This petite tube of wonder-goo manages to plump, tame, and subtly tint my brows (I use Cool Blonde). The formula has fibers in it that help beef up my natural brows, yet it doesn’t flake off. There’s also enough hold to keep your arches, well, arched, without feeling stiff or crunchy. The application is quick and easy and the shade range is excellent.  It is a comparable dupe to Too Faced Gimme Brow (read more about that here), but IMHO NYX Stick It does it better because it has more hold for the volumized, laminated look. Did I mention it is also vegan and half the price of the latter? Drops mic.

For around $10 a tube, this is a must-have beauty hack for making my brows look like they didn’t come of age at the turn of the millennium. To all of you Gen Z-ers who think skinny brows are back, I’m gonna recommend that this time you may want to take beauty advice from your (and my) mother!
