If one of your goals for the new year is to toss your tired workout wear or freshen up your gym attire, this post is for you. A few months back, I purged my workout wardrobe of over-worn and ill-fitting athletic wear and it felt amazing. Subsequently, I sprung for some new additions that became sweat-time staples.
Here are my 5 best fitness purchases of 2022:
Beyond Yoga Spacedye Uplevel Midi Bodysuit
When I decided it was time to buy a unisuit, I jumped for joy when I saw that Beyond Yoga made one in their supersoft (and never see-through) Spacedye fabric. It runs true to size, I took a medium.
New Balance Fuelcore Running Sneakers
I have had two tendon repair surgeries in my bum left foot and suffer from chronic plantar fasciitis, and these are the most comfortable and coolest looking running sneakers I’ve owned (and wear with orthotics, of course). They run true to size.
Aerie Real Me Strappy Back Sports Bra
Since purchasing my first one of these, I have not bought a sports bra anywhere else. The support and comfort trumps all.
I have been loving this pre and post workout half-zip. The kangaroo pocket and side slits make it.
Shortly after purchasing these, I realized why they are called every day. Grab ’em here on sale.

Kiana Jacket – Glam York02/14/2023 at 8:31 am
[…] Happy Valentine’s Day! I have all the heart eyes today as I share my latest love with you: this coat. I had been on the hunt for a Penny Lane style coat, since my vintage one has seen better days. This one had been on my wish list for some time, but the price stopped me. When I received my birthday coupon (the best reason to give your bday to your favorite brands), I decided to try and only keep it if I absolutely love it. The moment I pulled it out of the box, I knew it was meant to be. It is so special, and such a work of art. I would say it is true to size and slightly oversized, I took a medium and it fits comfortably with sweaters. Speaking of sweaters, this one is so cozy and I love the longer fit for wearing with leggings. I bought a pack of three of these, which were recommended by Helena of Brooklyn Blonde and she was right: they are the best casual wear leggings that don’t look or feel like athleisure. […]
