5 Best Beaches

Happy National Beach Day! Today I am sharing my most favorite beaches I have ever been to on the planet. I love the beach and everything about it, from the sight, the smell, the vibe. I have been to fortunate to have spent most of my life living on the coast and it definitely is something that inspires me in every way. I have also been lucky to have had the opportunity to travel to some of the best beaches, and you might be surprised at my top choices.

Here are the 5 best beaches I have ever been to:

5. Greenwich Point Park, Greenwich, Connecticut

Greenwich Point Park

I had to show my new hometown some love, because one of the best things about living in Greenwich is what residents refer to as Tod’s Point, our best local beach. It’s truly a gem that is enjoyable year round with extensive running, walking, and biking trails, and the most beautiful beach you’ll find statewide less than an hour from New York City with a view of the city skyline in the distance to boot.

4. Watch Hill Beach, Watch Hill, Rhode Island

Ocean House Watch Hill Rhode Island

Watch Hill Beach is the most beautiful, quintessential New England beach. It also happens to be home to one of my favorite resorts in the world, Ocean House. The resort owns a large stretch of the beach, and it is not to be missed.

3.  Sand Key Beach, Clearwater Florida

Sand Key Beach Clearwater Florida

If you want a Caribbean caliber beach without leaving the states, Sand Key Beach is the closest thing to it, and it’s perfect for families. The beach is clean, clear and vast, and best of all, you can rent homes or a condo in Belle Aire beach for a more private low-key experience (which we thoroughly enjoyed) or at The Sand Pearl Resort in Clearwater beach for action packed adventures if you have older children (my friends stayed there and loved it).

2. Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Grace Bay Beach Turks and Caicos

This past month we returned to Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos for the second time. The flight is a little under three hours from New York, and it is simply gorgeous. The sand is super soft and clean, and the water is so clear you won’t believe your eyes. I highly recommend the West Bay Club for a romantic getaway, and Casa Grande Villa if going with a group.

1. Yasawa Island Beach, Yasawa Island, Fiji

Yasawa Island Spa and Resort

Yasawa means Heaven in Fijian, and the second you step foot on Yasawa Island, you will feel like that is exactly where you have arrived. It’s a long trip from the East Coast, but worth every minute. We stayed at Yasawa Island Resort and Spa for our honeymoon, and it delivered on every level. It was on this trip that we fell in love with Scuba Diving. I have yet to match the marine life we saw in Yasawa, and it is the cleanest, purest, most beautiful beach I have ever seen.

What’s your favorite beach?
