I recently realized that I am obsessed with statement lighting. Real talk, I would rather shop for a chandelier than jewelry. The truth is, lighting (and hardware) is the jewelry of the home. The right lighting makes or breaks a room, and I made a few clutch choices that I think made it.
Here are the 5 statement lighting pieces I love in my home:
Regina Andrews Malibu Chandelier
Some like a dramatic chandelier in their entryway, but I love the subtle and understated beauty of this Regina Andrews gem.
Ian K. Fowler Bistro 32 Inch 18 Light Chandelier by Visual Comfort and Co.
I put this Visual Comfort bistro sputnik chandelier in my guest suite and I kind of wish I put it in another room where it could be seen from more angles. Regardless, I love it in this space. It is such a showstopper. I adore that it’s modern but the milk glass is a nod to my 1940’s house.
Ro Sham Beaux Fiona Chandelier
The moment I laid eyes on this gorgeous piece of ceiling jewelry, I knew I would put it in my house someday. I tucked it away for just the right occasion, and ordered it as soon as the occasion arose. The turquoise jade color is beyond perfection.
Hudson Valley Lighting Sparta 6 Light 28″ Wide Semi-Flush Mount
The most wild of the bunch, this spiked semi-flush mount makes me smile every time I see it. It’s badass and beautiful.
Anderson Mill Oil Rubbed Bronze 12 -Bulb 36″ H Outdoor Chandelier
A black sputnik chandelier is a bold choice for above a front door, but I am so glad I took the leap. I love the way it pops against the white brick and blue door, and it’s so unexpected.
