When I asked Lukey what kind of room he wanted when it was time for his promotion to a big boy room (impending arrival of baby sister), he said, “a moon room.” It’s fitting really, since he is named after Luke Skywalker. I used an existing rug we had as the inspiration for the neutral color palette, but mostly just had a lot of fun playing with the celestial theme. The room gets so much natural light and I wanted it to feel like you’re just hanging out in the sky. It’s a walk in the clouds. He loves it, and so do I.
