This dress might be the most seasonally appropriate piece I purchased this year. It looks like autumn but feels somewhere between summer and fall, which is exactly what we are experiencing on the East Coast. Most days, its too warm to layer past early morning. I wore a kimono sleeved cardi over it when I left to take my sons to Boo At The Zoo at the Bronx Zoo and by the time we got out of the car at 10am it was too hot to even bring it long. We’ve been going to the Boo thang since Bear’s first Halloween and it’s become a family tradition along with my brother and his boys. My mom was concerned over my footwear choice per usual, but my feet felt amazing even after walking a few miles in these. If you’re going to invest in a quality pair of neutral suede booties, they are the absolute best and I can’t speak highly enough of the olive color; it truly goes with everything.
