As my due date approaches (this week!), I am nesting so hard I figured I should share some of my master bedroom progress. I will be spending a lot of time here in the next couple of weeks and I honestly don’t mind because it has become such a peaceful place. When I started choosing pieces for this room, I knew I wanted to keep it clean, airy, and minimal with beachy and bohemian touches. I am currently awaiting the arrival of these chaise lounges for the balcony, and eventually I would like to add this chandelier. I am loving how it is turning out, and wanted to see if you have any feedback on what else I should put on the walls. Right now, there are five mirrors and my husband says that’s enough. In my defense, I felt the walls needed it since one side of the room is floor to ceiling windows and double doors, and other than that we only have a small oval skylight of sorts. I couldn’t find the perfect full length mirror so I bought an inexpensive solid wood framed one from Homegoods that was on clearance because it was a gross color and painted it the same as the molding for a custom “built-in” look. The craziest new addition is this Moses basket and rocking stand which we finally put together this past weekend. So second baby.
