Rio and I have many Americana affinities in common, not limited to plaid, gingham, denim, aviators and sneakers. Speaking of sneakers, how dope are these mesh kicks? While we’re on the subject, the Van’s Star Wars Collection launches 6/1, so mark your calendars and we’ll shop together in cyberspace. I haven’t been this excited for a sneaker since the Nike Dunk Hi Fashion Week series, and I haven’t been this excited for Star Wars garb since the Petco collection. The cashier gave me not one but two pairs of free Yoda dog ears on opening day. Either I looked way too excited or I spent too much money on R2D2 dog toys and costumes for Bella June.
