I’m gearing up to get out of town for a much needed summer vacation. While taking mental inventory, I thought I would share the top five things that have become indispensable items on my hot weather packing list. Share your must pack summer vacation pieces in the comments!

1. TopTote
One of the greatest inventions of all time, the TopTote is a must take on any warm weather trip for me. Yes, it’s not cheap, but I can confirm from friends who tried imitations before buying the real thing, nothing compares. It hooks onto your beach tote or carry-on like a bag charm, but features a strong magnet clasp that holds your hat and keeps it safe from being squished or stained during travel and gives you a portable place to hang your hat while leaving you room in your beach bag. 2. Hat
