This week brings good new and bad news. The good news is, the best linen dress ever is on sale, as are many designer goods at the heavy hitters, and I did your Father’s Day shopping for you. The bad news is, there is a Chanel shoe price increase happening TODAY, but the good news is there is no need to panic for I came prepared with the scoop and I am about to set your classic shoe loving mind at ease.

Chanel Price Increase on Shoes
Rumors were swirling this week that Chanel was increasing prices on classic shoes, from ballet flats to espadrilles to slingbacks, to upwards of 50%! I investigated and interviewed reliable sources and was given the opportunity to view the new pricing sheets, and I can confirm that if you didn’t get the classic pair you wanted this week, there is no need to cry. The increase is on average $25 across the board, which is minimal and no cause for panic. It is, however, a sign of things to come. We can expect the classics to continue to incrementally increase. The good news is, The Real Real still has slingbacks and ballerinas under retail, like this classic black sling, and these vintage Camelia flats which I like more than the current iteration.
Courant is taking up to 20% off during their Father’s Day Sale. I got this one for my husband’s home office and had it monogrammed, and it was a huge hit. It’s great looking and works well.
