I had been feeling rather uninspired lately, as I tend to this time of year. The holidays are over, the decorations have been taken down, and the dead of winter is here. My chic friend Emily was wearing an all-white ensemble the other day and it inspired me to reimagine my New Year’s Eve outfit (which was spent at a small gathering at a friends house) and style it for daytime. This cozy sweater dress is so warm it hardly needs an actual coat, so I topped it off with the greatest vegan leather jacket I have ever touched and have been missing since a cool summer evening (luckily it is back in stock). I was channeling my dear E and J.Lo when I walked out the door in this and it turned my seasonal affective disorder on its head. There is something about wearing winter whites that elevates my mood (until I spill coffee on it, but this day it was green tea).
