This Wednesday Wishlist item is something I’ve been on the hunt for: a parsons style teak outdoor table and a matching teak dining bench. I had a wrought iron outdoor table I inherited from the previous dwellers of our Gramercy apartment, and that lasted many years save for some rust, but I felt it wasn’t comfortable and sold it on Craigslist when we moved to our first house. To replace it, I bought a trestle table and bench from World Market and faux bamboo french bistro chairs like these.
The chairs are still good as new, but the table and bench are looking tired and suffered some damage following a bad storm. It was the perfect size table for the patio at our first house, but I am looking to go bigger to fit our new patio space. I love the clean look of a parsons style table, and I adore having a bench for the kids After much research, I decided on teak for durability, longevity, and the beautiful weathered patina it takes on over time. I found a few options that fit the bill.
West Elm Modern Teak Outdoor Dining Table
I love the thick slabs of wood and the sleek modern design of this one. Here is the matching bench.
RH Aegean Teak Rectangular Dining Table
RH has a version in a slim, elegant silhouette. It also has a dining bench option.
Arhaus Canyon Outdoor Dining Table
I’ve never ordered anything from Arhaus, but I am tempted to make my first purchase this table right here. It comes in three different sizes, I love the proportions, and the coordinating bench.
Which is your favorite?
