I’m so excited to share my moody blue grey bar pantry with you today. I don’t feel like it’s quite done because I am on the hunt for the perfect odd sized vintage rug (something like this). I love the contrast of the pink that is in there now, but it is too small for the floor space so it’s a placeholder for now. The existing cabinetry was beautiful and in great shape, but needed a paint job and some style.
Here is the before:
Here are the afters:
Wallpaper on ceiling: Grow House. Flush Mount: Hudson Valley Lighting (also love the pendant). Paint: Benjamin Moore Van Courtland Blue (comparable here). Counterops: Duraseal in Ebony. Faucet: Rejuvenation (on sale!). Knobs: Schaub & Company. Pulls: Rejuvenation. Rug: Caitlin Wilson Designs. Painting: Palette Pro.
I kept the hammered sink and added the same color on the cabinets and walls that I used on the kitchen island and I could not love it more. I envisioned this space as a fun little spot to fix a drink, and it’s just that.
Based on the time of day, it goes from a deep grey to a moody blue to a teal. I wanted to keep the traditional butler pantry while giving it a modern, moody bar feel, and I think the flush mount, wallpaper on the ceiling, and paint color takes it there.
Who else is ready for happy hour?
