A had been shunning shadow in favor of a minimal eye and a power lip color when this YSL Couture Palette c/o YSL arrived on my doorstep. It floated around my makeup bag for a while before I tried it once, then proceeded to wear it at least 4 times a week. I’ve never been a violet lover, but the 05 colors make my dark brown eyes pop and lend a warmth to my winter complexion. The pigments are so rich, a little goes a long way. They blend impeccably, and though I normally don’t love a shimmer, this is just enough shine for daytime or evening.
