Happy National Handbag Day! I’m celebrating my sharing a little round up of my top five favorite bags of all time. I am definitely a certified bag lady. Fun fact: I once half jokingly told my husband that I preferred Chanel over diamonds, and since then, that’s exactly what he has gifted to me for most big birthdays and occasions. I know. He’s pretty cool.
Chanel 2.55 Laser Cut Lambskin Scarf Bag
I picked up this rare 2.55 flap bag at A Second Chance (Via Sardegna, 57) in Rome. It’s an incredible collector’s piece, and it always reminds me of the unforgettable trip my husband and I took to Italy for my 30th birthday.
Figue Evil Eye Clutch
This Figue Evil Eye Clutch is another consignment store find. It’s truly a piece of wearable art and it always gives even my most basic of outfits a little extra something.
My navy blue boy bag was my “push present” from my husband when we had our first son, Bear. It’s my second most carried bag, and I am constantly surprised by how well the navy lambskin goes with so much of my wardrobe.
I cannot stop wearing this cream crossbody bag. It’s the newest addition to my collection, and it’s just the perfect mix of retro 70’s flavor and clean modern design. I’m in love!
Chanel Maxi Bag In Black Caviar Leather
I call her Maxine. She’s a big one and I love every inch of her. I wear this bag more than any other one in my collection, probably because it’s the perfect size for all of my essentials (plus wipes and some diapers). I love the compartments, especially the inner flap which is perfect for keeping important documents wrinkle free. She was a gift from my husband for my birthday about five years ago, and thanks to the durable caviar leather, she looks as good as new despite the fact that she is my most carried.
