What was once the subject of many a punch line in my tribe and among the characters on one of my most beloved TV shows, Happy Endings (RIP), has become a hotter-than-a-heaping-bag-of-Manhattan-summer-sidewalk-trash must have item: pajama jeans.
These are not just any pj pants in disguise. These are the Rag & Bone Miramar Jeans, but they aren’t jeans made of sweatpant material as many reviewers are quick to point out. They are straight up french terry sweatpants covered with a digital denim print, down to the “button.” I am not a fan of wearing sweatpants in public, but I will admit that the color and “distressing,” along with the rave reviews are blowing my mind in a way that compelled me to see them in person (in pajama jean?) and seeing was believing because YES I COPPED THEM. The real kicker? Not one reviewer regrets spending $225 on a pair of sweatpants, and most say they are worth every penny. They are available right now at Shopbop, Revolve, Nordstrom and Amazon.
Celebs like Heidi Klum and Ashley Benson are jumping on this pajama jean train.
All aboard? Or do these make you want Jesus to take the wheel?
See how I styled them here.
