Sophisticated Safari Themed Nursery

sophisticated-safari-themed-nurseryI have recently found myself purging my closets of endless amounts of things, cleaning, and organizing like a maniac. The nesting phenomenon is real, and with 17 weeks to go, I am now in full blown nursery planning mode. I wanted a theme and color scheme that was relaxing and neutral enough that I could use all of the pieces again. I also want to choose big pieces like the dresser, chair and rug that will have longevity post nursery years. This sophisticated safari / animal theme developed naturally and I have begun shopping and finding some fabulous deals. Some of these items I’ve already purchased, and I will be sharing a full before and after blog post once the room is done.

Clockwise from top left: Baby Animal Prints by The Animal Print Shop. Block Monogram by PBKids. Melissa & Doug Giant Giraffe Plush. Benjamin Moore Paint in Stonington Gray. Whale Tissue Holder. Large by Littles Cloud Wall Shelf. PBKids Delaney Bear Rug. Hand Woven Erika Geometric Wool Rug. Land of Nod Campo Recliner. Babyletto Hudson Convertible Crib.
