Rene Ruiz Collection Ruched Long Sleeve Gown
I was not expecting to love this cobalt gown as much as I do, but it fits like a glove (true to size, in a 6, if between sizes size down), the color is gorgeous, and it’s comfortable and warm. I am saving it as an option for a black tie or a cocktail party on a chilly night.
Hill House Home Tartan Plaid Nap Dress
I wore this plaid mini dress to a gingerbread house decorating party with my kids, and it was perfect for an evening with my children: cute, comfy, not too short, and it even has pockets! I’ll be re-wearing it before it goes back.
Michael Kors Metallic Midi Dress
This dress looks polished enough to wear to a cocktail party, yet it feels like a warm, cozy sweater. I am either wearing it on Christmas eve for a framily get-together or on New Years Eve at a house party.
I wore this bow embellished dress to the first holiday party of the season and loved it. I read the reviews and sized up two sizes, and I was glad I did. If you are curvy on top or bottom, it is a must.
Bardot Ellis Maxi
This Bardot Maxi fits beautifully (I’m in a medium) and it’s comfortable, but it is definitely daring.
The color of this A.L.C. dress is so stunning and festive, and it works for anything from a house party to black tie. The ruching and cut is so flattering.
Bardot Alessia Green Sequin Dress
This is the second time I’ve rented this little number, and I mean little (size up if you have curves and are over 5’2″). I wore it to an 80’s party in the fall and loved it, and it’s perfect for any holiday cocktail party.
An unexpected sleeper hit for me, I wore this to my mom’s bachelorette party and a holiday themed evening out. It’s flattering and comfortable and true to size (in a small). I kind of regret sending it back.
