I had this dress in my cart for a while during my resort-wear wardrobe planning phase, but it kept selling out. Naturally, playing hard to get made me want it even more. There is a reason this dress is a hot ticket that keeps selling out. Well, there are a few. First of all, it’s just hot, while keeping you cool. It’s also flattering and comfortable, which makes it practical. It is low cut, but stays in place well, and the halter neck is fully adjustable and has the most beautiful tassel details in the back. They just re-stocked this color (Lavender Fields) and added a few new colors as well. The only con: as some reviewers point out, it is long (though I found it true to size and copped my usual size medium). I am almost 5’5″ and had to have it hemmed by about 4.” However, judging by how much my husband enjoyed this featherweight little number (he is normally not a maxi dress fan) and how much I enjoyed wearing it, I consider the few bucks spent on the shortening well worth it.
