While I generally don’t subscribe to the #lovesummerhateeverythingelse mindframe, I do believe summer fragrances are superior. There is something about my summer wardrobe style that just feels best punctuated by a final walk through a misted cloud of a spot-on seasonal scent. Although I’ve tried many, there are three that I’ve been loving for years and one is under $20.
These are the 3 best summer fragrances:
Mason Margiela Replica Beach Walk
One whiff of Mason Margiela Replica Beach Walk is pure East Coast summer nostalgia. It’s fresh, salty air, sunscreen, and a hint of hydrangea without overt florals. It’s light, which is especially important in humidity, yet it has staying power. You can get a trial size here.
Gourmand Eau De Parfum Fragrance Lait de Coco
This $18 fragrance is hands down the best coconut scent on the planet. It’s subtle yet feels like a vacation, and smells nothing like tanning lotion. Every time I wear it I get compliments (even when I don’t leave the house, my whole family loves it).
Atelier Cologne Clémentine California Cologne Absolue Pure Perfume
I added this citrus based scent to my rotation this year and now I know exactly what my I was missing. On the hottest of days, this refreshing fragrance almost tricks my brain into thinking I’m keeping cool. I love the musk tone that keeps it balanced.
