Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo Review

Having already been a devotee of Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo, I could not wait to try out the new addition to the holy grail of dry shampoo’s collection. I was not particularly optimistic that it would live up to it’s predecessor, because I am not a fan of the Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast. It’s too sticky and does not absorb oil for me.

Here is my un-sponsored Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo review:

It is long lasting. I slept with it in my hair styled from the night before (on a silk pillowcase) and my hair looked clean the next morning and my style held. It was my rest day so I didn’t work out before attending a day event, and for the first time ever, I barely needed to reapply any dry shampoo to my roots.

It is easily made invisible. It leaves very little trace, most notably, with very little brushing and blending. This formula is a bit better in this category than the OG.

It has a great scent. While Oui has the best scent by far, I prefer the scent of Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo to the scent of the original Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo.

The texture is ideal. Once brushed through and blended, again, with little effort needed, the texture is far less obvious than any other dry shampoo. No “hairspray feeling” here. It truly absorbs oil and makes your hair not look and feel clean, and that is where this product truly shines.

I might be a convert.
