5 Favorite Swimsuits This Summer

I recently took inventory of my swimwear drawer and reflected on how much action some of these suits have sees all summer. I realized that I am most definitely playing favorites. From my old faithfuls to the new kids on the block (drawer), I’m sharing the ones I reach for most lately.

Here are my 5 favorite swimsuits this summer:

Hunza G Classic Square Neck One Piece

Hunza G Classic Square Neck One Piece

I’ve never really been a one piece person, but this one and this one changed the game for me this year. The Hunza G is so comfortable, you can wear it all day if you feel like risking a UTI. Of note, if you’re in the dark nips club, you might put on a show as it is unlined. If the price makes you gag, here is a nearly identical dupe.

This Ombre One Piece

Xhilaration Juniors One Piece Swimsuit

I feel like this ombre maillot is the high brow version of the American flag bikini. The cut is so hot and on-trend, and so flattering.

Kulani’s Kinis High Leg High Waisted Bikini

Kulani's Kinis

Kulani’s Kinis has just been crushing it for me for a couple of years now. I ordered this Bae Blue color earlier in the season, and I am convinced that no one beats their fabric (so soft and comfy) or cut when it comes to the high waisted, high leg cheeky style. I love this print reversible bottom (and top)which is on sale plus an extra 25% off with code 25LOVE.

Kona Sol Women’s Double Tunnel Halter Bikini Top

Kona Sol Women's Double Tunnel Halter Bikini Top

I love this top so much, I bought it in both colors. Apparently I am not alone, because the hot pink version sold out before I could get my hands on it. The bottoms are good too, but I personally wish the leg was more high cut. If you love a high waisted nearly full coverage bottom, these are for you.

Xhilaration Ribbed Cheeky High Leg High Waist Bikini Bottom

Juniors' Ribbed Bralette Bikini Top - Xhilaration

Speaking of personal preference, I present to you what might be my favorite swimsuit three years running. I have actually bought these bottoms twice, because the first time I was post partum and I had to size down the following year. Yes, they’re so nice, I bought them twice. Everything about the cut and fabric and style is just perfect, and it is not only flattering, it is very comfortable. This year, they brought it back in a snake print top and bottom. Of note, these bottoms are a more modest (in terms of coverage) cheeky fit than the Kulani’s Kinis but not as full coverage as these. It only seems like I buy most of my swimwear from Target, because I do. Perhaps hoping to find this unicorn again.
