5 Favorite Cuddle Essentials

Serena & LIly Barton Sectional Anguilla Coffee Table

To celebrate National Cuddle Up Day, I’m sharing my 5 favorite cuddle essentials. Cuddling just so happens to be my favorite winter pastime, and now that we are home more than ever, its become a daily ritual. It’s hibernation season, so let’s embrace it and celebrate.

Here are my favorite cuddle up essentials:

A Blanket

Whether cuddling up alone or with loved ones, a blanket is essential. These faux fur throws and these Barefoot Dreams blankets are my favorite couch throws for snuggling up after a long day. They’re so soft, warm, and beautiful. You can find some Barefoot Dreams blankets on sale here.

Candles

Candles are a must for setting the mood. This is the absolute best winter scent, and this Goji Tarocco Orange candle is my favorite of all time.

A Warm Beverage

A hot toddy or a warm cup of tea is a must after a long day of remote learning (we are doing it this week and I can’t believe it’s Dry January and it’s only a Wednesday). My kids love this real deal hot cocoa and its on sale.

A Slowcooker

There is nothing more appropriate than a hot meal fresh out of the slowcooker for dinner on National Cuddle Up Day. I swear by my Crock Pot, especially on busy days. Gina Homolka, the genius behind Skinnytaste, creates the most delicious, healthy slow cooker recipes in case you need inspiration. This white pumpkin chili is one of my all-time favorites.

Fire

West Elm Felt Stocking

If you have a fireplace, today is the day to get it lit. Don’t have a fireplace or a vent? This worked great for me when I lived in an apartment without one.

Happy cuddling!
