Happy National Dessert Day! I know I am not alone in saying that I never baked as much as I did during the winter phase of quarantine. During the coldest days, it was the indoor activity of choice for my boys, and they are the best taste testers. It gave me the gift of ironing out any kinks in my all-time crowd favorites.

The Best Brownies Ever
Brownies are hands down my favorite dessert of all time, and nothing beats this recipe. They’re so easy, and so perfectly chewy and chocolateley you’ll never go back to boxed.
When I needed a potty training bribe for my middle child, these flourless peanut butter cookies were just the ticket. Strangely enough, my kids have never had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but still love the combo in this cookie form.
There is truly nothing more nostalgic than a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie…well, except for these chocolate chip cookies. I adapted this version from the baking queen, Sam, of Sugarspunrun. If you’re looking for dessert recipes or perfect pizza dough, she’s your girl. I’m merely a novice.
