Honest Review Of Crème de la Mer Moisturizer

La Mer Crème de la Mer Moisturizer Review

True life: I tried La Mer Crème de la Mer Moisturizer for six weeks straight. I was fed up with my winter skin and decided to pull out all the stops when I had a 30% off coupon. Despite the fact that this cream costs $180 per ounce, it has a multiple-decades-long cult following. I wore only Crème de la Mer as my daytime moisturizer for six weeks and here is what happened: I was inspired to try it because I was searching for a dry skin cure on Sephora and it was touted as best for dry skin, and for dryness, redness, fine lines and wrinkles. In short, winter skin probs. I was surprised when I opened the container by the meager amount that I had spent over $150 on. However, a little bit does go a long way, and a one ounce portion will get you to six weeks. It was far from the best month and a half for my skin. In all fairness, this season has been a Rubicon for any skin cream. Maybe its me, maybe its my age, but I developed redness, fine lines, and dryness like never before. Just to make sure it wasn’t just me, I went back to my old faithful day cream for three weeks before sitting down to write this and the redness is gone, my fine lines are softer, and my dryness has improved. Maybe this moisturizer works for some, but for $180 per ounce, it should work for everyone. Sorry not sorry.

Here are all the moisturizers I like more than this one:
