The Best Drugstore Scar Treatment

Scar Away Silicone Sheets for C Section Scars

I am one of those people who do not scar well. This definitely scared me when I realized I would most likely opt for a c-section with my second and third babies. My first scar wasn’t looking great, so I was relieved when my doctor told me they would remove it when I had second c-section this past March. I tried a few scar treatments the first time around, but it wasn’t until my surgeon recommended a particular brand of scar therapy sheets after my last foot surgery that I found the best solution. I searched for these at CVS and Walgreens etc. but none of my local pharmacies had the size and shape I needed. Thank you, internet.

I’ve been using them since 8 weeks post-partum and my scar already looks better at 5 months than the last one did after a year. Here is the best drugstore scar treatment that is saving my life right now:

Scar Away Silicone Sheets for C Section Scars

These long silicone sheets do the job and then some. By that I mean they are so long that you can actually cut off an inch or two and save it or use it on another area (I use the smaller piece on my foot and it stays put). They are non-irritating (even on my sensitive skin), so comfortable to wear, and they keep clothes from rubbing against your scar which is a big help after major surgery. I also love how thin and smooth they are, so they don’t show through fabrics. By the way, this is in no way sponsored and I have been buying these once a month.

You can get them here and here.

Happy healing!
