National Lipstick Day

Chaser Rainbow Rock Tank

If you’re new here, welcome, my name is Brittni, yes the spelling is made up, and I am obsessed with lipstick. If there is one beauty item I feel naked without, lipstick is the one. Today is National Lipstick Day, so I’m sharing my list of my top five favorites. It evolves over the years a little, but most of these are my day 1’s: the colors I keep coming back to.

Spell and The Gypsy Collective X REVOLVE Wild Bloom Strappy Dress

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême Lipstick in Eternel. My dream came true when I was invited to my first ever Chanel collection preview party last year, and also when I discovered my favorite new neutral lip color in the goody bag. It’s subtle and makes your lips look nude but fuller.

UO Puff Sleeve Babydoll Dress

NARS Lipstick in Heatwave. I’ve been wearing this perfect-touch-of-orange red shade for years and nothing compares to it. It’s just so flattering on every skin tone and so gorgeous.

Misa Emala Dress

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Tilt. There’s coral, and then there is this electric, almost neon, knock ’em dead color by the genius team at Urban Decay called Tilt. It’s the best summer color on the planet.

Daydreamer Biggie Pop Color King Tee

Nars Lipstick in Schiap. If I had one signature lip, Schiap would be it. Whenever I’m rushing or wearing all black or have any amount of hot pink on my person, I throw on this lip and feel put together.

Chaser Rainbow Rock Tank

MAC Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo. Ruby Woo is a cult favorite for good reason. It’s the best true red out there. If you’ve never rocked a bold red lip, this is the one to try.

What’s your favorite lipstick? Tell me in the comments!
