While I love a bootie, summer shoes just fill my soul. I mean, what’s better than the perfect sandal? Since we are (dare I say it?) approaching the end of the season, some of the best footwear is on sale or about to drop in price. Silver lining! I’m counting down the 5 pairs I lived in this season.

Cecelia New York Hibiscus Sandal
These shoes are equal parts show stopper and comfortable sandal; a rare combination. If they go on sale, I will have no choice but to buy another color.
Anthropologie Platform Wedge Sandals
A friend of mine put me on to these comfy, textural white wedges, and they’ve been the sleeper hit of the season. They just restocked a bunch of sizes, and with the extra 25% off they’re under $70! Don’t sleep on these sleepers.
Loeffler Randall Starla Plank Sandals
I’ve had these star embellished lace up sandals for years, and they just get better with age. The leather is so butter soft and perfectly molded to my feet. I love them with midis, maxi’s, even shorts. They’re the perfect sandal to take on a European summer vacation, or any trip where you’ll be walking a lot.
These were my big summer shoe splurge last year, and I’m happy to report they were a good buy because I wear them SO MUCH. They’re sold out now, but you can find them here sometimes. I also love this similar style and these.
Free People Bali Footbed Sandal
I bought my second pair of these this year. They’re basically just cooler looking Birkenstocks, and they go with everything. Love this color which is on sale.
