My 5 Favorite Lipstick Colors

Nars Lipstick in Heat Wave

I’m celebrating National Lipstick Day a little late on here, but you know how the saying goes. I love lipstick so much, because it doesn’t just make your face, it makes an entire look. I grew up watching my mom always apply her lipstick before leaving the house. She still shows up even with no makeup on in leggings for Glamma duty, always with lipstick on her lips. You know how people say you eventually become your mother?

These are my 5 favorite lipstick colors right now:

Nars lipstick in Schiap

NARS Matte Lipstick in Schiap

I wear this electric fuchsia pink hue more than any other color in my beauty bag. It’s the perfect pop of color when wearing darks and neutrals, and it looks incredible with any shade of blue. I am not really sure how to pronounce it, but I always have a spare stick on me.

Free People Dream Big Jumpsuit

MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo

Ruby Woo is red lipstick perfection. It is everything you want in a true red lip, and it looks amazing on everyone.

NARS Matte Finish Lipstick in Heatwave

Heatwave is the most universally flattering just-orange-enough orange tinted red. Jenna Lyons swears by it and so do I.

Baublebar Pinata Tassel Earrings

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Tilt

As I’ve mentioned before, this is hands down the best coral lip color on the planet. I have been reaching for it as much as my Schiap this season.

Anthropologie Nico Gown

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Creme Lipstick in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

Until this color landed in my mailbox, I never loved a neutral lip color.
